As a Barista at Edgewood Tahoe Resort, you provide prompt service, quality beverages, and conduct cash register transactions, while maintaining a friendly, upbeat, and clean atmosphere. Essential Functions:
- Welcome and connect with every guest. Discover guests’ needs and appropriately suggests product to enhance service and meet expectations.
- Follow proper cash handling procedures, prepare guest checks, and collect payments.
- Operate and understands Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Prepare beverages that may range from basic to complex according to recipe standards.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for are and equipment.
- Maintain clean working environment.
- Clean and maintain the appearance of all merchandise and guest areas.
- Respond to guests' inquiries and their requests.
- Sincerely thank guests as they leave and inviting them to return.
- Complete assigned cleaning duties and side work.
- Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
- Prior coffee shop experience preferred but not required.
- Upbeat and outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
- Must possess computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized.
- Full-time and part-time shift available!
- Available to work varied shifts when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
